On top of a steep slope in the Albaicin, you can find the flamenco school. The school is a maze of stairways, terraces and caves.
On this special place, where many big names in the flamenco world come from, it feels like a privilege to be given lessons. If you dance flamenco in the caves, you will be inspired even more by the atmosphere. This neighborhood breathes flamenco. The school fully responds to international students. There is a library, computer room, terraces with beautiful views for a perfect cool down after the lessons, and many activities are being organized.

All classes can be combined, so if you want, you can spend 4 hours a day working on flamenco. Because of the intensive approach, you will learn a lot in a short period as a beginner. If you have advanced level, this intensive course makes sure you have a tree level (or more) on the ladder going up. If you have big plans and want fast results, you can use the 3 months course.

You will learn a full dance within two weeks. With this course you can practice the technique and learn to dance alegrías, tangos, bulerías ... Flamenco compás	From € 78.00
Learn the flamenco compass in a dynamic and fun way. Essential for everyone; you will learn the different ways of giving the palms, the most common accents and variations for the different palos. Prices 1 week €78,50,= 2 weeks €125,= 1 Week extension €55,= 1 hour per day monday until friday 5 hours p.week. All levels __________________________________________ Lessons are at all levels and are held in the caves and where necessary accompanied by a guitarist and singer. The lessons are taught by professional teachers who all have proven themselves to flamenco and still regularly perform. There is a maximum of 12 students per group. There are technique, choreography and compás lessons. Technique classes first begin with a warming up, then starting with exercises for footwork, how the upper body must be moved, turn, rhythm counting, all parts of the dance are treated. Usually the content of the technique classes is being used in the choreography. The choreography classes focus on one of the Palos, the tango, alegrías, fandangos, tientos, garrotín, etc. You will learn one of these styles of rhythm, the "compass" and the specific movements of the dance. There are also special compás classes. These classes are aimed to learn different rhythms and learn to assist with "palmas" the familiar hand-clapping in flamenco. These lessons are a very good base for developing your flamenco.
